secint24.un.org — Academy award-winner Geena Davis warns the U. N. that the "hypersexualization of women" in the media is a major factor in negative attitudes and violence toward women. Even young children are being indoctrinated into the "idea that girls hold a lesser position in our society, that they’re less important.." through images on TV and in movies.
